Click Here to find Diamond Watches

Once considered a luxury item for women, diamond watches are now available in contemporary as well as elegant formal designs for both genders. No longer an item brought out only for “special occasions”, diamond watches are available in a number of styles suitable for virtually any occasion. Even some function-rich chronograph styles have included exquisite use of diamonds in their design. These unique diamond watches are an eye-catching mixture of exceptional craftsmanship, performance and art.

The wide variety of design options available in both women’s and men’s diamond watches make them a notable accessory. More than simple, functional timepieces, they truly are beautiful examples of diamond jewelry. Watches featuring fine diamonds are a luxurious reflection of individuality and personal style.

Design features of diamond watches

There is some variation in how gems are used in the design of diamond watches. Depending upon the style and whether the design is intended as a men’s diamond watch or ladies diamond watch, gems are typically used in the following ways:

  • Diamond markers – Diamond markers are popular features of ladies diamond watches as well as men’s designs. Markers, as the name implies, indicate hours on the watch face. Anywhere from one to twelve markers can be used in diamond watches. In some cases, the markers merely accent the numbers on the watch face. In other cases, diamond markers replace the hours entirely.

  • Diamond bezel – On a watch, the bezel is the ring surrounding the watch face. Diamond watches often feature anywhere from a single to multiple diamonds arranged throughout the bezel. This design feature sets off the watch face and lends the piece a distinctive elegance. Diamond bezels may contain an arrangement of small gems that catch the light beautifully or larger, more distinctive diamonds. Naturally, the number and quality of diamonds used effects the watch’s price.

  • Diamond encrusted casing – In these styles of diamond jewelry watches, the outer casing itself features an array of diamonds. Typically smaller in size, these diamonds nevertheless add noticeable sparkle to the watch design.

  • Diamond-accented watch band – Some ladies diamond watches and even mens diamond watches include diamond accents above or within the band itself. These styles can be particularly elegant pieces of fine jewelry. Diamond-accented bands are typically created in a bracelet style featuring a precious metal such as gold or platinum.
